Oh it was a happy day when the Snowdens were coming to visit!
Everyone got up EARLY put on their NICEST clothes and then asked EVERY 15-30 minutes from breakfast time on "are they coming now ? "
THE Problem was they were not coming until 4 pm!!!....Once I was finally able to say "yes this is the hour!!" all the "littles" dragged a chair to the front window and plastered themselves to it ****for over half an hour**** until at looonnnnggg last the SNOWDENS arrived!!
I love my long time friend Mrs.Snowden!!
We met at church the very day she accepted Jesus as her Savior! We then later became roommates while my dh and I were dating.
My friend allowed me to take their engagement pictures and practise my picture taking at their wedding too... and I have loved doing family pics here and there too as their family has grown ..right along with ours! Our girls and boys are only months apart.
My dh and I visited them in September in sunny California but the kids have not seen each other in over a year .....
SO ALLLLLL the toys came out ...dress up and trains and cars and books and blocks we had grilled cheese and cookies and tea that "001" baked fresh that morning for the little tea party and craft session she was planning for the little girls
( what a BIG SIS hey!).
While the girls did princess crown crafts....
THE BEST BIG BRO "002" chased after the boys (mostly my boys)
and Mrs. S and I tried and tried to yell some kind of a conversation to each other over all the noise!! .....I don't think we finished a single conversation entirely :)
I love those friends who you meet and just know that THEY ARE gonna be "lifers".
