This is what my husband is doing this Saturday morning !!(….while the big kids and I are wildly packing them up to go to the cabin this week)
He should get a few stares with this caravan!
Thank You Uncle Mark and Auntie Jen for blessing us with a new bike trailer all the way from G.P. so we can all go for rides now~ we love it!!

My mom saved a letter i wrote to her when i was little, and mad at her one time. I found it in a pile of papers she had saved of mine and i laughed and laughed over it .
This is one of little Miss gr. 1’s first ever letters …and that is what she wrote! What a girl I am sure she will laugh at it someday too:)
So… we had a talk about how this is still name calling…even if you write it … ( she thought she had found a loop hole) he-he
The doll house of all things !
It was such a hoot to see them knocking with their chubby little fists on the roof of the house and then hear them say in their raspy little voices…
( at the window on the side of the house b/c who needs a door when you can use the window just around the corner)

Of course the people they were making talk were their beloved trains:)
Little “Miss.Grade 1” reading away with her “spectacles” on! What a sweet thing she is ~ she loves to read her chapter a day…in her “chapter book” ( just like her big brother and sis :)
The twins have never been to the beach! ....and the “triplet” can’t really remember it either so he was right there with them ! (this is my favorite picture of my 3 little bumps on a log “seeing the OCAEN for the first time )
With each of the kids i have loved teaching them……well anything!!! …….I love literally opening a new blank page in their brains and drawing a picture on it of the meaning for that word, concept, or object….for the first time!!!-- to stay there forever more!
TODAY ~ it was how to say “Ocean”
and that, the “wind” is what is blowing your hair all around …..as for the ”sand” well…..they didn’t like the feeling of sand !!…in their shoes…. or under their feet …but no we don’t wear our shoes in the ocean… and. yes if you want to go and see the water you have to walk on the sand ! ….and no you cannot stand on the very tippy end of the picnic blanket and yell in unison “daaaaaadddd we meed you “ ( he will make you walk on the sand too :) and oh yes –remember to dump the bucket full of water away from you- not all over your tummy…and the “waves” from the ocean will make you sink into the sand… but oh! don’t cry there are your toes again !
We are still learning to hold our brothers hands when walking down a pathway …(so nobody is tempted to run ahead) and no you cannot put your hand onto your pocket instead –”i see you trying to be sneaky”!!…..”yes mommmy” ..lol --- and not every skinny tall man is your daddy…shhhhh! no that’s not him either!…shhhh!
Now of course” being the good parents we are” the pictures stopped a soon as we got close to the water and we were all hands on deck!
I feel like we have reached another milestone-we allllll went to the beach today !!! YEAH!
