The "Triplets NURSERY"

This last week one of my WORST nightmares came true!

For the first time in the history of our family..... children have learnt how to climb out of their cribs!! .....and then fall on the floor!

Hilarious to them!

NOT to mom... I was hoping to keep them in there until they were at least.. 10!

NOW you have to understand how this plays over into our world...

We now have three little boys who don't stop ..... free! un-restrained ..and did you get that last part?** free.... to play!! at any time of the night!!! ......

This has caused a total upheaval of how we have done life to this point!!
We had to triplet proof the entire "nursery" to make it safe b/c there is a party going on at the ABBEY house come 7 pm Mon -Sun !!

( i am still not sure if that dresser is ok in there :)

"oo4"'S bed had to come down too as it became a trampoline/diving board ..I was invisioning myself quietly reading a book..many large books... by candle light for weeks on end as they all fell asleep so i could train them to stay in their little camp out and see to it that they stayed in their beds and were not getting into mischief.

I know... they sound totally untrained and wild but they are just three little boys who are best friends who play alllll day and alllll night! They actually stay in their beds even in the morning until they are "excused"...

So down those cribs came and we now have in the Nursery ...come 7 pm "camp outs" Three little boys tuck into their little crib mattreses on the floor where they are safe:)


And..i have to say aside from feeling guilty they are on the floor but then remind myself it is actually the safest place for them to be.... it is not as bad as i thought it would be!!!

We gained a ton of play space taking down all the furniture too!

Actually it is quite darling... ohh those delicious abbey boys all 5 of them so have my heart !!

The triplets (as we call them) wrestle and then smooch ....and then wrestle share a sippe cup for a drink then back to more smooches for each others hands and arms and then make their "bun buns"(bunnies) talk to each other until one by one they drop off to sleep...ahhhhhh our favorite part of the day :) I will have to get it all on video tape.

THE WORST PART of it all was that.... I realized as i was packing away our cribs and then two bed skirts and two little crib sheets that they will never be used again ...this could be ... Forever!!!!???

How can this be??


We are just getting the hang of this thing called "parenting" ..in other careers this is where you start getting raises and extended vacation time ( i really need to talk to my boss :) -you don't stop at this point !!
Not that parenting ever stops but I LOVE my career!!

In 13 years.. it has never been forever....I am sad.
