HAPPY 9th BIRTHDAY !

 

My first born son...what a gift he is!

He got a new bike for his birthday gift from dad and mom:)

Just had to try it out right away…..still puffy eyed and all.

 

We started out his day with breakfast at our all time favorite breakfast place De Dutch Pannekoek House!

YUMMY!!YUMMY!!

 

For his “dad mom and me-just us 3 “ birthday date he wanted to go visit all his old favorite toy stores.

He hasn’t been to any of them with either of us in…about three years..wonder why?:) Of course we had to start at Indigo books toy store in WR (the one with the Starbucks in it… for ma and pa:) Then off to Langley.

Then to Toys R Us to check out Lego.

Three hours later ..3!!- just looking at toys! he he.

We went to A&W for lunch. He found some coupons in the recycling one day during his chores and saved them in his desk… for a month! JUST to use on his b-day date..how sweet is that !  …  I don’t even do that !

That night we had some special guests arrive to help celebrate him ….AND his Lego passion !

Those “GRAND- parents” are soo fun !!

They borrowed one of the b-day boys uncles (and almost new aunts..shhh :) halloween costumes to surprise him with ! IT was a HOOT to see the triplets standing at the door with mouths open trying to figure out what was on the other side of the open front door while all the other kids squealed with delight!!!

 

NINE !! WOW….. I remember being 9 !

His big sis made him a special cake as her gift to him:)
